Well, this past Monday I said my goodbyes. It's so weird not working anymore and knowing I will not be returning until after my babies are born and settled in. I know it's best for me and this pregnancy. I know it also makes my husband happy, and he doesn't want to have to worry about me, my health, and this pregnancy's health. The doctor I was working also said it was best for me since it will be hard for me to get a job since I'm showing already and I may need to leave the job early anyhow. I suppose she's right, and I do feel good about my decision to stay out of work. I just hope I don't lose any of my experiences from what I've learned and accomplished so far. Sure sure I can go back and audit a class or two, but I'm proud of what I've done so far.

I need to take care of myself as the priority. I am happy overall that I get to stay home. Even better, I get to spend more time with my husband. I love his company!

Just so you understand the significance of the Reaper being there.

In the show "Reaper", the reaper shows up in the beginning with a task for the main character to accomplish. This character needs to figure out a way to get this job done and sometimes he has to get through a bunch of obstacles to get there. The reaper is only there to tell him what he needs to accomplish and send him on his way...sometimes with limitations

In my dream, the reaper did just that. Tell me what I needed to do and sent me on my way with limitations (cannot take the road I prefer to use in order to get to where I needed to be).

Well the follow up blood test was 1037! That means it's still going the way it should I can't wait for my first ultrasound, which will be June 28. That'll be in my 7th week. We'll see what happens. If the baby measures at 7 weeks or so, it'll be further along than before.

Ok so I had the egg retrieval on Tuesday, and they grabbed 5 eggs. Pretty good! They fertilized only 3 of them because one of them was unhealthy and the other one didn't fertilize...they tried though!

So now, with the assumption that all 3 have divided appropriately and are still healthy, I will be receiving 2 back and I'll freeze the other. I'll find out tomorrow how that goes! ;)

Well I've had 2 ultrasounds since I started on the Follistim. I have 6 follicles, 4 of which are closest to maturing.

I should be making at least 8 or more. This is so disappointing, but at least there's somethign to work with.

I'm going ahead with the IVF procedure anyhow. I hope it works the first time!

Oh, I know! I do that all the time! Sometimes the sound effects can be too indecent for the road. Good to know someone else thinks that. Or horn/traffic sounds.. what nonsense.

Comment on Another UTI! by Eliza

A quick update:

Basically, the doctor decided not to send me to a urologist. She decided to just try to figure out what could be causing the infections instead. So I have to buy dye/perfume free body wash such as dove, for example. I have to make sure I only use a newer k-y jelly and nothing that is getting old. I have to keep track of how I wipe, and I have to keep an eye out on when the UTIs actually start up. This is a process of elimination.

Apparently, some women get UTIs directly due to sex. The doctor said she often prescribes a low dose of the antibiotic that's used to treat UTIs but to take in once after sex just to keep the urinary tract in better working order and to stop being so sensitive.

This sort of thing doesn't surprise me. I'm sure there are even other things that kids are doing to get high that no one know about. It probably took a while to learn about sniffing glue too.

It's not easy to keep this sort of stuff away from kids too because they can just go into a store and buy it. I guess it's just one more thing to keep an eye on your kids for.
